ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System
Kingdta's entire PCB assembly operation — from component receiving to final shipment — is certified to ISO 9001:2015, the world's most widely recognised quality management standard.
What Is ISO 9001:2015?
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It defines a framework of processes, documentation, and controls that an organisation must maintain to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
The 2015 revision introduced a risk-based thinking approach, requiring certified organisations to proactively identify and address risks that could affect product quality — not just react to defects after they occur. It also strengthened requirements around leadership commitment, context of the organisation, and knowledge management.
Over one million organisations in 170+ countries hold ISO 9001 certification. For electronics manufacturing, it is widely considered the baseline quality credential that serious buyers require from their supply chain partners.
What This Means for Your Project
Consistent, Documented Processes
Every step of your PCBA order — from BOM review and component sourcing to SMT, reflow, inspection, and shipping — follows documented, audited procedures. No improvisation.
Full Traceability
ISO 9001 requires records at every stage. If a quality issue arises, we can trace exactly which components were used, which operator ran which machine, and at what time — critical for medical and automotive customers.
Risk-Based Quality Control
We proactively identify high-risk process steps (BGA soldering, fine-pitch SMT, mixed assembly) and apply additional controls — not just standard inspection — to prevent defects before they occur.
Third-Party Verified
Our ISO 9001:2015 certificate is issued by an accredited certification body and renewed through annual surveillance audits and triennial recertification audits — not a self-declaration.
Supplier Quality Management
ISO 9001 requires us to evaluate and monitor our component suppliers. We source from authorised distributors (Digi-Key, Mouser, Arrow) and maintain an approved vendor list with periodic performance reviews.
Continuous Improvement
Internal audits, management reviews, and corrective action processes are mandatory under ISO 9001. Our quality metrics — defect rates, on-time delivery, customer complaints — are tracked and improved every quarter.
How Kingdta Implements This Standard
Quality Management Manual & Procedures
We maintain a full QMS documentation set including a Quality Manual, 20+ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for every critical process step.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
All components are inspected against approved specifications upon receipt. Reels are verified for correct part number, quantity, and date code. Counterfeit-prevention checks are applied to high-risk components.
In-Process Controls (IPQC)
First-article inspection (FAI) is performed at the start of every production run. SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) checks paste deposition before component placement. AOI is performed after reflow on every board.
Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)
Any non-conformance triggers a formal CAPA process. Root cause analysis is documented, corrective actions are implemented, and effectiveness is verified before closure.
Internal Audits & Management Review
We conduct quarterly internal audits across all departments. Annual management reviews assess quality objectives, customer feedback, and process performance against targets.
