Your design files are your most valuable asset. Here is exactly how we protect them — contractually, procedurally, and technically.
Our Commitment to Your IP
We understand that sharing your Gerber files, BOM, and design documentation with a manufacturer requires trust. Since 2011, we have built our reputation on strict design confidentiality. We have never — and will never — share, sell, or reproduce a customer's design without explicit written authorization. This is not just a policy statement; it is backed by contractual NDA, access controls, and employee agreements.
How We Protect Your Design
NDA Before File Transfer
We sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you share any design files. Our standard NDA covers all design data, technical specifications, and business information. We can also sign your company's NDA if preferred.
Restricted File Access
Your design files are accessible only to the production team directly working on your order. Files are stored in an access-controlled system with user-level permissions. No unauthorized personnel can access your data.
Employee Confidentiality Agreements
All Kingdta employees sign confidentiality agreements as a condition of employment. Violation of customer confidentiality is grounds for immediate termination and legal action.
Secure File Transfer
Design files are transferred via encrypted channels (HTTPS/SFTP). We do not accept or store files via unencrypted email attachments for sensitive projects. A secure file upload portal is available on request.
No Design Reuse or Sharing
Your design files are used exclusively for your order. We do not use customer designs as references, templates, or samples for other customers. Files are deleted or archived per your instructions after order completion.
Post-Order File Handling
After order completion, your files are archived in our secure system for warranty and repeat order purposes. You can request deletion of your files at any time by written request.
NDA Signing Process
Request NDA
Contact us by email or WhatsApp to request an NDA. We will send our standard mutual NDA within 24 hours, or you can send us your company's NDA.
Review & Sign
Review the NDA. We sign electronically (DocuSign or equivalent) for fast turnaround. Physical signatures available if required by your legal team.
Secure File Transfer
Once the NDA is executed, we provide a secure upload link or SFTP credentials for your design files. Files are immediately restricted to your project team.
Production Under NDA
All production activities proceed under the terms of the NDA. Your project manager is your single point of contact and is personally responsible for file security.
Common Questions
Can I send you my company's NDA instead of using yours?
Yes. We regularly sign customer-provided NDAs. Please send your NDA to info@kingdta.com and our team will review and return a signed copy within 1–2 business days.
What happens to my files after my order is complete?
Your files are archived in our secure system for warranty support and repeat orders. You can request deletion of your files at any time by written request to info@kingdta.com. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.
Do your employees have access to my design files?
Only the production team members directly working on your order have access to your files. Access is controlled at the user level in our production management system. No other employees, including management not involved in your project, can access your files.
Have you ever had a design confidentiality breach?
In our 13+ years of operation, we have never had a confirmed design confidentiality breach. Our reputation for IP protection is a core part of our business — we would not risk it for any reason.
Can you sign an NDA before I even discuss my project?
Yes. We can sign an NDA before any technical discussion takes place. This is common for customers with sensitive projects. Simply contact us and request an NDA as your first step.
