Consignment PCB assembly (also called customer-supplied or 'bring your own parts' assembly) gives you full control over your component supply chain while leveraging Kingdta's assembly expertise and quality systems. This model is ideal for customers who have existing component inventory, have negotiated pricing with specific distributors, or are working with allocation-constrained parts during component shortages. We also offer partial turnkey assembly where you supply some components and we source the rest.

Kitting & Production

The Problem
The customer needed to maintain full chain-of-custody control over their ITAR-controlled ICs (FPGAs, DSPs, and custom ASICs) while outsourcing the assembly labor and passive component sourcing. Customer components are stored in a locked ESD-safe cabinet with a dual-key access procedure. All passive components are sourced exclusively from Digi-Key, Mouser, and Arrow with full distributor certificates of conformance. Assembly is performed in a dedicated work area with no other customer's materials present. MIL-PRF-31032 documentation is generated for every production lot.
