What Affects Lead Time?
Component Availability
If all components are in stock at our preferred distributors, we can start production immediately. Long-lead components (custom ICs, specialty passives) can extend lead time by 1–4 weeks.
PCB Fabrication
For turnkey orders, PCB fabrication is included. Standard PCBs take 3–5 days; complex multilayer or special material PCBs may take 7–10 days.
Assembly Complexity
Simple SMT-only boards are faster than mixed technology (SMT + through-hole) or boards with many BGA packages requiring X-ray inspection.
File Readiness
Lead time starts from file approval. Incomplete or incorrect files requiring DFM corrections add 1–2 days. Submitting complete, correct files from the start saves time.
Order Quantity
Larger quantities require more production time. Our capacity planning team can provide precise lead times for high-volume orders.
Testing Requirements
Functional testing, ICT, or burn-in testing adds 1–3 days depending on test complexity and fixture availability.
