Files & Technical Requirements
We accept Gerber RS-274X, Gerber RS-274D, Eagle AutoCAD DXF, and DWG formats. For PCB assembly, please also provide your BOM (Bill of Materials) in MS Excel format and a Pick & Place (PNP/CPL) file. If you have assembly drawings or special instructions, PDF format is preferred.
We prefer your BOM in MS Excel format including: component part number (MPN), manufacturer name, quantity per board, component value (resistance, capacitance, etc.), reference designator, and package/footprint. Other formats are also accepted. The more complete your BOM, the faster we can process your quote and reduce the risk of component substitutions.
Yes, a PNP/CPL file is required for SMT assembly. This file contains the X/Y coordinates, rotation angle, and side (top/bottom) for each component. It can typically be exported directly from your PCB design software (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.). If you cannot provide a PNP file, our engineering team can generate one from your Gerber files for a small additional fee.
Yes. We can perform a DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on preliminary designs and provide feedback before you finalize your files. This helps catch potential manufacturing issues early and reduces the risk of costly redesigns. Contact our engineering team at info@kingdta.com to discuss your project requirements.
Absolutely. Kingdta will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any sensitive design files are transferred, upon your request. Protecting your intellectual property is a fundamental part of our customer relationship. Please request an NDA when you first contact us.
Quotation & Pricing
For standard PCB assembly orders, we provide a detailed quotation within 24–48 working hours after receiving your complete files (Gerber, BOM, PNP). For orders with special components or complex requirements, we may need up to 2 working days. If you have an urgent requirement, please indicate this in your inquiry and we will prioritize your quote.
To generate an accurate quote, please provide: (1) PCB Gerber files, (2) BOM with manufacturer part numbers, (3) PNP/CPL file, (4) required quantity, (5) PCB specifications (material, layers, thickness, surface finish), and (6) any special requirements such as testing, conformal coating, or IC programming. For special components, you may also recommend your preferred suppliers.
No. Kingdta has no minimum order quantity. We accept orders starting from 1 piece. This makes us ideal for prototypes, design validation, and small-batch production. Our pricing scales efficiently from single prototypes to production runs of thousands of units.
A turnkey PCBA quote from Kingdta includes: PCB fabrication, all component procurement (from authorized distributors), SMT and/or DIP assembly, standard quality inspection (SPI, AOI, visual inspection), and basic functional testing if a test method is provided. Optional services such as X-ray inspection, ICT, conformal coating, IC programming, and box build assembly are quoted separately based on your requirements.
Production & Lead Times
Typical lead times depend on order type: Prototype PCBA (1–10 pcs): 5–7 working days after all components are ready. Small batch PCBA (10–500 pcs): 7–15 working days. Production PCBA (500+ pcs): 15–25 working days. Lead times start from when all components are in stock and ready for assembly. Component procurement time is additional and depends on part availability.
Every customer is assigned a dedicated sales contact who will keep you updated throughout production. During working hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Beijing time), we respond to emails within 2 hours. For urgent matters, you can contact your sales representative directly by phone or WhatsApp. We also send photos of bare PCBs before SMT assembly begins, and photos of finished assemblies before shipment.
If a BOM component is unavailable from our standard suppliers, we will contact you immediately with options: (1) wait for stock replenishment, (2) source from alternative authorized distributors, or (3) use an approved equivalent substitute. We never make unauthorized component substitutions — all changes require your written approval before procurement.
Yes, we offer expedited production for urgent requirements. Rush orders may incur additional fees depending on the complexity and current production schedule. Please contact us as early as possible to discuss your timeline — the earlier we know about an urgent requirement, the better we can accommodate it.
Quality & Testing
Kingdta is ISO 9001:2015 certified and follows IPC-A-610 workmanship standards for PCB assembly. Our quality management system covers the entire production process from incoming material inspection through final shipment. We also comply with IATF 16949 requirements for automotive customers and can support ISO 13485 quality requirements for medical device customers.
Yes. All PCBAs undergo standard quality inspection including SPI (solder paste inspection), AOI (automated optical inspection), and final visual inspection before shipment. If you provide a functional test method or test fixture, we will perform functional testing (FCT) on 100% of boards before shipment. We guarantee that every board we ship has passed quality inspection.
Yes. Kingdta has advanced X-ray inspection equipment for inspecting BGA, QFN, LGA, and other hidden solder joint packages. X-ray inspection is available for both prototype and production orders. For BGA components, we strongly recommend X-ray inspection to verify solder joint quality. Our X-ray equipment can detect voids, bridges, opens, and insufficient solder in hidden joints.
Our PCBA first-pass yield rate exceeds 99.9% for standard assemblies. This is achieved through our multi-stage inspection process: incoming component inspection, SPI after solder paste printing, AOI after reflow, X-ray for complex packages, and functional testing before shipment. Our MES system tracks quality data at every stage to enable continuous process improvement.
We use components sourced within the past 3 years to minimize oxidation issues. For components with longer storage times, we perform baking prior to assembly to remove moisture. Solder paste volume is controlled by SPI after printing, and stencil aperture sizes are optimized for each board design. Any solder defects detected by AOI are reworked and re-inspected before the board proceeds to the next stage.
Kingdta guarantees PCBs and finished PCBA assemblies against quality defects for 12 months from the date of shipment. If quality issues arise, contact us with photos and a description of the problem. We will investigate promptly and provide a resolution — repair, replacement, or refund — depending on the nature of the defect. We also request a quality feedback report within one month of receipt to help us continuously improve.
Components & Sourcing
Kingdta sources components exclusively from authorized distributors and their authorized sub-distributors. Our primary sources include Digi-Key, Mouser Electronics, Arrow Electronics, Avnet, and authorized Chinese distributors such as LCSC and UTSource. We do not source from unauthorized brokers or open-market suppliers to eliminate the risk of counterfeit components.
Yes. We accept customer-supplied components (consignment assembly). Please ensure components are properly packaged (tape-and-reel, tube, or tray as appropriate) and clearly labeled with part number and quantity. We recommend providing 3–5% extra quantity to account for setup losses and any rework requirements. We will inspect incoming consignment components and notify you of any quality concerns before assembly begins.
Yes. Our procurement team has established relationships with a broad network of authorized distributors and can often source components that are difficult to find through standard channels. For long-lead-time components, we recommend placing your order as early as possible. We can also advise on approved alternative components if your first-choice parts are unavailable.
Counterfeit prevention is a core part of our procurement process. We source exclusively from authorized distributors with full supply chain traceability. All incoming components are inspected against manufacturer datasheets for package marking, date codes, and physical characteristics. For high-risk components, we perform additional electrical testing. Component lot numbers and distributor certificates of conformance are retained for full traceability.
Shipping & Logistics
Kingdta ships to customers worldwide. We have extensive experience shipping to North America, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America. We ship via DHL, FedEx, and UPS for express delivery, and can arrange sea freight for large production orders. Please contact us if you have specific shipping requirements or restrictions.
We provide a complete set of shipping documents with every order: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of conformance (CoC), test reports (if applicable), and component traceability records. For customers requiring customs clearance, we can provide additional documentation such as country of origin certificates and HS code information.
All PCBAs are packed in anti-static (ESD) bags and placed in foam-lined boxes to prevent mechanical damage during transit. Moisture-sensitive devices are packed with desiccant and humidity indicator cards. For large orders, boards are separated by foam dividers or placed in individual anti-static bags. We take great care in packaging to ensure your boards arrive in perfect condition.
Yes. Kingdta tracks all shipments daily after dispatch and will notify you when your parcel arrives at your country's customs. We provide tracking numbers for all express shipments. If there are any customs delays or issues, we will assist you with the necessary documentation to resolve them promptly.
